Resource Centers.
The Metropolitan Atlanta Private Industry Council and the Atlanta Regional
Commission sponsor Career Resource Centers throughout metro Atlanta.
These centers provide career information and free skills training for
laid-off workers and income eligible residents of Fulton (outside Atlanta),
Cobb, Cherokee, Clayton, Douglas, Fayette, Gwinnett, Henry and Rockdale

eligible individuals 55 and older by providing occupational skills training,

The Transportation Communications International Union offers computer
and clerical training for ages 18 to 24, with emphasis on the transportation

booklets and guides to Georgia resources. It also maintains a career

LEAP.
Lawrenceville Employment Assistance Program is an outreach program open
to anyone seeking employment regardless of age, race, gender or religion.
The program is designed to help Lawrenceville residents find employment
or improve their employment potential. First and third Mondays of each

Choices for Women.
This Goodwill Industries program offers free training in carpentry,

A variety of programs tailored to the individual's needs. Offerings
